Project Background

CPB (formerly Leighton Contractors) was comprised of five Divisions: Construction, Investment and Facility Management, Resources / Mining, Telecommunications and Industrial & Energy.

Project Activities

As the National WHS Training Manager across all five divisions this project involved working with a small team on the design and implementation of a professional development framework “Pathway to Safety Leadership” for all employees onsite through to General Managers and the Executive Management Team.

We initiated and contributed to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of new training programs across all five Divisions within Leighton Contractors and the four regional areas within each Division. This required the management and co-ordination of current internal training programs at the time and liaison with Educational Organisations (Tertiary, Universities, RTOs, TAFE, and private organisations) to develop and improve current and future training programs.
